Thank you for all the support to everyone listening!

EP.6 - Eddie Gunn and Blind Tasting #1: Wheated Bourbons

12Jan

Let's blind taste some wheated Bourbons! I was joined by Eddie Gunn, a Las Vegas beverage consultant, to help me blind taste 8 different wheated Bourbons and rank them according to our personal tastes. This was a lot of fun to record and we were both somewhat surprised which Bourbon came out on top. Can you guess which one reigned supreme?

Bourbon blind tasted (in no particular order): Larceny, Maker's Mark, Maker's 46, Rebel Yell* 80 proof, Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year, Weller 12 year, Weller Antique 107 and Poor Man's Pappy (mix of 50/50 Weller 12year and Antique 107)

*This was the base Rebel Yell 80 proof. I did not use the 10yr single barrel. Next time I will include the 10yr.
